Some hit you like lightning

You subconsciously crawl towards some others

And then there are those your mind cooks up

And body becomes an accomplice

You get everything you need

And it surprises you

While you are busy struggling

Life gives in abundance

That indeed is surprising

Your silly mind cannot process the surprise

It desperately seeks out the familiar

It wants to go back to status quo

But you know what!

Take that turn

There is joy waiting to happen

There is life around that corner

Embrace the surprises

They are neither good nor bad

They are experiences you make a story out of
