Surrender

To the divine and mundane within me, outside me

Letting go of any scheme to separate

Seeking, opening up to a multitude of options to unite

To be one with the universal energy

That is the best accountant ever created

For it knows in the depths of its womb

That every being, action, and inaction is accounted for

Weaving the mysterious game of living

Patiently watching the cosmic drama unfold

Rejoicing in the futile efforts of humans trying to grasp the meaning of it all

Like a mother watches over her children

With no expectations but endless marvel

Surrender

To that great conductor of cosmic give and take

Sometimes mercilessly methodic

Some other times playful to my whims

Indulging me to believe that I own my destiny

Nudging me along to believe

To be

To flow
